Marketing Strategy Formulation: Responsible for our EP Advanced Ablation portfolio; prioritize business opportunities that impact franchise plans, profit and margin objectives; Develop and direct EP market development & strategic / tactical plans; Set the direction for clinical strategy and define appropriate tracking tools; Set directions for Budget planning and define appropriate tracking tools for the franchise;
Marketing Strategy Implementation: Implement strategic & tactical plans to achieve EP business and market development objectives; Execute appropriate elements of Franchise Marketing Plan; Execute new product launch plans according to marketing excellence standards; Develop International franchise strategic plans to achieve divisional objectives; Review and agree country plans with country Management; Continuously monitors sales performance vs. plan by country and provides input on local sales strategies and execution; Active participant in business reviews; Coordinate operational strategies and programs with involvement from sales management.
Business and product knowledge: Stays abreast of key industry and competitive developments, as well as clinical, technical and regulatory market developments, and identifies key implications for the division, Ensure product development initiatives are consistent with International market needs; Direct and approve all necessary actions to drive market and product needs assessments; Manage product prioritization within franchises and provide input towards global divisional development prioritization.
Planning and management: Continuously reviews all aspects of performance with regards to the EP Advanced Ablation franchise and provides analysis and recommendations to ensure plans and objectives are maximized; Establishes clear direction, priorities and expectations for EP to ensure deliverables and minimize unnecessary work; Develop and manage annual franchise expense budgets; Interpret and utilize franchise P&L to drive business decisions; Develop annual franchise revenue plan and collaborate on franchise operating plan.
Stakeholder management and Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with key international opinion leaders in field; Develop ongoing communication and relationships with key internal functional areas to drive division objectives and remove potential barriers, Prioritize and coordinate the franchise’s / division's executional involvement with cross-functional groups (sales management, sales reps, marketing communications, national accounts/corporate programs).
Motivate and lead others: Manage and monitor all franchise marketing activities within the team to achieve strategic and business objectives, stimulating internal stakeholders in the region to strive for strong results in the EP Advanced Ablation space, creates an environment of mutual trust/respect that fosters productivity and high level of engagement, promote best practice
Knowledge & Experience:
Completed BA/BS undergraduate degree; MBA degree will be valued
6+ years’ experience in Electrophysiology
3+ years of marketing experience in an active medical device area. Prior experience in Electrophysiology/ Rhythm Management preferred.
Upstream and downstream marketing experience
European/ global marketing experience will be valued
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational management; work with and manage indirectly cross-cultural teams in a matrix environment
Very fluent in English
